What do we think? Ranging from 2001: A Space Odyssey to Wall-E, we have always envisioned AI as a machine with which we can have a human conversation (Look up Turing test). To accomplish this vision, we were forced to learn the language of computers to talk and get work done by them, resulting in Command Line Interfaces. Then we came up with a common ground of Graphic User Interfaces, giving tools to users and machines to talk to each other. Now Generative AI has enabled machines to understand human language, brining us a lot closer to the original vision, using a Natural Language Interface.

How it changed CXM?

Generative AI has enabled us to translate natural language into structured information, allowing us to interface directly with the machines.

This also enabled having natural conversations at scale for a business, reflecting business intelligence and insights for each conversation.

This is especially beneficial for businesses who want to scale, therefore enabling this experience for their customers and personnel, understand your customer at a personalised level, and cater to their individual needs.

How it’s changing other businesses.

Perplexity: Revamping search, by presenting it as a knowledge journey.

Eleven Labs: Almost solved audio from plain text

Rabbit: Foraging into creative interfaces utilising LAMs (Large Action Models)

Convai/Nvidia ACE: Human conversations with characters in video games
